While nothing groundbreaking, Kirby’s Dream Buffet is like a macaron – bite-sized, sweet and colourful, but best enjoyed in small servings. Not every game has to be an epic journey! Sometimes it’s nice to just have one slice of cake. Overall, Kirby’s Dream Buffet is delightful, and makes me hopeful that more mid-tier games starring Nintendo’s biggest names could make their way into the eShop in the future. With a gorgeous culinary theme and stellar presentation, alongside plenty of great rewards to unlock, Dream Buffet will keep players coming back for several helpings for the foreseeable. While a little lacking in content and options, Kirby’s Dream Buffet is a hilarious and satisfyingly silly game that balances its gameplay nicely between moments of skill and utter mayhem.
